Changing the configured site domain for your tenant is a significant action that affects how Demand-Genius tracks and analyses your content. Before you proceed, please read the following carefully.
What Happens When You Change the Site Domain
When you update your configured domain:
Existing AI Classification Will Be Deleted
All previously classified content from your current site will be permanently deleted. This includes all Directory entries and their associated metadata.
Tracking Script Will Stop Working on the Old Site
If you’ve deployed the Demand-Genius JavaScript snippet on your current domain, it will stop functioning immediately after the change. Tracking will only resume once the script is correctly deployed on the new domain.
A New AI Classification Will Run on the New Site
Demand-Genius will automatically begin scanning and classifying pages from the newly entered domain. This process typically completes within a few hours, depending on the size and structure of the site.
Important Notes
You cannot undo this action.
Your analytics and content insights will reset to reflect only the new site.
Make sure the new domain is fully accessible (not behind login walls or blocked by robots.txt) to ensure accurate classification.
